Gaurav Gautam Rural Development Expert is a seasoned development professional with over 15 years of experience in rural and urban livelihood promotion, community mobilization, and tourism development. He holds an M.Phil. and a Master of Social Work from Lucknow University.
Currently, he is working as Rural Development Expert at Adarsh Sewa Samiti, leading initiatives under the UP Rural Tourism Project across 36 villages in Uttar Pradesh. He also coordinates with government departments, NGOs, and community-based organizations to strengthen rural institutions and livelihood opportunities.
Previously, Gaurav served as City Mission Manager (Agra) under DAY-NULM (SUDA, Lucknow), where he managed urban livelihood programs, skill development, and social mobilization. Earlier, he worked as Additional Program Manager (Firozabad) under MGNREGA, focusing on rural employment and asset creation, and as Block Mobilization Coordinator (Aligarh) for UNICEF-supported programs in health and immunization.
With strong expertise in capacity building, project management, and community institution development, Gaurav is committed to empowering communities, promoting sustainable rural tourism, and improving livelihoods.
