Disney Hazarika Fellow – Communications & Community Engagement serves as a Fellow at Adarsh Sewa Samiti, contributing to communication strategy, community mobilization, and participatory media initiatives across development programs. He holds an MA in Communication for Development from Tezpur University and brings extensive experience in producing digital campaigns, PSAs, and short films that amplify grassroots voices.
As co-founder of The Friendly Filmmaker, Disney has led over 50 videography projects and 20+ social media campaigns for NGOs and development institutions, including CML (TATA Trust). His expertise spans strategic media management, digital storytelling, and public outreach—skills he leverages to strengthen awareness, build engagement, and support Adarsh Sewa Samiti’s mission of improving water, sanitation, and hygiene practices in rural communities. He is passionate about empowering rural youth through storytelling and innovative communication tools, fostering inclusive participation in sustainable development.
