Sustainable Operation and Management of PINK TOILETS (only for women) in Agra.
Project Background & Objectives: Participatory Management of Community Toilet under Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) of Agra City to facilitate the community-driven management of Community Toilets (CT) in the Hariparwat Municipal Zone in privileged communities.

Activities completed and methodology followed:
• Creation of awareness toward sanitation and hygiene in underprivileged communities.
• Felicitate the process of making the city open defecation-free (ODF).
• Promote the gender and disabled-friendly community toilets in the city.
• Facilitate the real-time digital monitoring of the cleanliness of the community toilets through the mobile phone App.
• Facilitate the process of door-to-door waste collection by AMC to maintain the cleanliness around the community toilets.
• Strengthening and capacity building of Ward Level Sanitation Committee (WLSC) for the continuing cleanliness in the area.
• Facilitate the process of the triggering during early morning and late evening at the identified defecation spots to make the city ODF.
Results/outcomes achieved:
• Ability enhances to calculate money earned
• Enhance the ability to segregate the waste to getthe right value
• Knowledge to understand the schemes of running by govt. to the welfare of Rag Pickers
• Long Term Impact:
• Behaviour Change of the Rag Pickers
• Health was improved of Rag Pickers
• Rag Pickers earned regular income and avoided narcotic drugs.
• Improvement of their financial status of them by involving SHGs
• Livelihood Promotion through SHG methodology
• Improvement in Literacy.
